Hundreds of prisoners released in Yangon
A woman, who’s among 100 people gathered outside Yangon’s Insein prison, prays as she waits, and hopes to see her loved one freed. The Myanmar army is set to release some 2,000 prisoners across the country, and around 700 prisoners from Yangon's Insein jail, prison chief Zaw Zaw told Reuters. It's not clear whether any of the thousands of political prisoners detained since the Feb. 1 coup will be among them.
Myanmar Now reporter Kay Zon Nway was one of the 700 ++ people who got released from Insein prison on Wednesday evening. She was arrested while covering anti-coup protest in Yangon on late February.
Political Prisoners continue to be released from Yangon's Insein Prison until late at night.

Yangon Urban Guerrillas (YUG) has released 4-paged statement. YUG is a organized group of 11 guerrillas based in Yangon. Said that they are "liberators of democracy & freedom" but "always follow the guides from NUG (National Unity Government) Myanmar.
A bomb exploded in front of City Mart, Yay Kyaw, Yangon & Ttwo people were injured and the motorcyclist lost his arm.
