Protests against the re-opening of schools continued in Yangon on Sunday, with anti-coup activists spray painting anti-coup messages outside a Thingangyun Township high school rejecting the 'military slave education system.’

Despite the heightened security forces of junta terrorists in town, Gen-Z youth held paper strike at Myay Ni Gone Bridge, Sanchaung township.

Youths from Hlaing Thar Yar showed solidarity for Mindat saying “Fighting Mindat. We all are with you.”

A candlelight domestic paper strike was held by the young people of North Okkalapa tonight to encourage the people of Mindat.

Raids, Murder & Arrests in Yangon

At noon on May 16, Junta terrorists were checking the phones of passers-by on Min Lan and Min Oo Roads in #Yangon's Sanchaung Township.

Around 8:30 PM, In Tamwe, Terrorists invading Dhamma Wihara Street and raiding the houses to arrest the civilians

Military  raided building 27, in 88th Street, Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township, Yangon tonight around 9:25 pm and inspecting each apartment & trying to arrest people with help of informants.

One person was killed and six others were injured in a bomb blast at Denko petrol station near North Okkalapa, Yangon at 4.15pm on May 15.

Ko Kyaw Kyaw,42-year-old South Dagon resident, was arrested on May 14 and killed on May 16 by the Military.  Military tortured him for having protest photos in his phone.  Burial was only permitted after a medical certificate stating that the patient had died of a disease was signed
