Bombs Explode in Yangon
A bomb went off near Avenue'J Cafe in Myaynigone township, Yangon July 8.
Explosions rocked electricity offices in Sanchaung, Lanmadaw and Mingalardon townships in Yangon on Friday. The junta has been forcing people to pay power bills after many refused. (Photo: People are seen near Sanchaung electricity office after a blast.)
Power Outages & Electricity Bill Collection in Yangon
Due to non-payment of electricity meters, power outages controlled by the military council have caused power outages in some parts of Yangon since early July.
In NorthDagon and some area of Yangon, SAC (State Administration Council) Forces are forcefully asking people to pay electricity bills and will cutoff power if fail to pay. NUG (National Unity Government) instructed not to pay anything to junta and people can not afford to pay bills too
