Guerilla Strike against Military Regime by youths from South Dagon, Yangon.

Martial law is imposed in Yangon's South Dagon Township but diligent pro-democracy youths still found ways to protest against Myanmar's military junta this morning (Aug 1), six months after it staged a coup.

Youths from ShwePyiThar township, Yangon staged an indoor strike to boycott all the products & businesses owned by Military.

Road Blocks & Raids in Yangon

Some roads in Yangon have been closed by the Military Forces since around 3 pm on August 1. Roadblocks were also set up yesterday.

People to People Support in Yangon

Donation food and medicine for people in need in Yangon's Thaketa Township.

Myanmar Mobile Service Association ( MMSA ) will sold 4 kinds of basic foodstuffs in one pack just for 100ks in 6 townships of Yangon , starting from August 1 .

In a ward in Yangon's Dagon Seikkan Township, youths from Thaketa donated rice and food items this morning (Aug 1) under the "People-to-People" program.

On August 1 , near Buutaryone lan bus-stop on Innsein road, Hlaing township, Yangon; SAC (State Administration Council) forces prohibited the (Mazely Flannel shop) which sold rice and basic Foodstuffs at a very low price for civilians and forced not to sell anymore.
