Industrial Students Strike from Yangon protested to overthrow the military dictatorship and showed their support for the NUG (National Unity Government) .

Inspections, Arrests & Explosions in Yangon

Junta forces forced 3 young boys on bicycles to stop and forcibly inspected their bags and phones at ZayyaWadi Street, Sanchaung Township, Yangon at about 1:50pm on August 16. They all were taken away in police vehicle.

SAC (State Administration Council) forces search for the civilians by checking photos whether or not if they joined the protest last night in Sanchaung Township, Yangon.

3 young men delivering oxygen were punished by the military council forces by kneeling in the rain last night in North Okkalapa Township, Yangon Region.

Two blasts occurred near Yangon’s Sanchaung Township Court at around 4:15 p.m. Monday. Locals heard two loud explosions and saw military vehicles and police vans rush into the area and block it off. Regime forces then conducted inspections in the area.
